I’ve upgraded my MacBook to Sequoia 15.5 and my global shortcut for iTerm2 stopped working. It was just showing me the message:

When I clicked it, terminal was showing up but it wasn’t what I wanted. It took me a while to find how to fix it.
Go to the System Settings / Privacy & Security / Input Monitoring. Add iTerm2 app there and mark the check box.

I then checked the Secure Keyboard Entry on the iTerm2’s menu, but looks like it’s not really needed.
If you still struggle to get it working, maybe other application enables it (loginwindow was guilty in my case). You can identify the process by using a script from Alex1.
